Pooja Patel has joined Saiber LLC as counsel in the firm’s Business Services practice group, the firm announced Monday.
Patel brings nearly a decade of experience in corporate counseling, mergers & acquisitions, venture financing and corporate governance to the firm.
Prior to joining Saiber, Patel served as in-house counsel for a private equity firm with over $1 billion in assets under management that invests in the media, entertainment, technology, sports, consumer and digital media sectors.
There, she provided strategic advice on complex transactional matters involving the firm’s funds and portfolio companies. Previously, Patel was an associate in the emerging companies and venture capital group of an AmLaw 100 law firm, handling various transactional matters involving private equity and venture capital firms and venture-backed companies.

Pooja received her B.S. from Rutgers University (magna cum laude) in 2013 and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2016. She will be based out of the firm’s Florham Park office.
