12-unit multifamily site in Orange sells for $1.42M

A 12-unit multifamily site in Orange sold for $1.42 million, the Kislak Co. announced Monday.

The property, at 153 Pierson St., is a well-maintained three-story building known as Hickory Corner, according to Senior Vice President Julie Gralla, who handled the sale.

The property, which features a stucco façade, has new windows and hot water heaters, renovated exterior lighting with added security cameras and a remote-controlled security gate for its parking lot. It is located within walking distance of two Midtown Direct train stations, Brick Church and Orange, and close to Interstate 280 and the Garden State Parkway.

Gralla said the sale — by Hickory Corner LLC to 153 Pierson St. LLC — went smoothly.

“It was also a pleasure to work with both parties,” she said. “The seller was a repeat client, and the buyer was a seasoned investor.”

Gralla, who joined Kislak in 2010, specializes in the sale of investment properties throughout northern New Jersey.
