With more than 20 years of broad commercial real estate experience, Jennifer Sofia Harrison has joined Levin Management Corp. as senior leasing representative, according to a Tuesday announcement from the North Plainfield-based company.
Harrison’s background includes landlord/tenant representation, sales/purchases, land development/entitlements and portfolio management. Specializing in retail real estate, the industry veteran has completed leases on behalf of a range of national, regional and local retailers.
In her new role, Harrison is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at five New Jersey properties within LMC’s shopping center portfolio: Brunswick Shopping Center in North Brunswick, Somerville Circle Shopping Center in Raritan, Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City, Hamilton Street Center in Somerset and Broadway Plaza in Bayonne.
“Levin Management is a highly accomplished firm whose outstanding industry reputation, culture of teamwork and level of success was very attractive to me,” Harrison said. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to grow my career with this dynamic organization and look forward to using my industry experience to contribute to the firm’s continued progress.”
Harrison previously held positions with Landmark Developers and Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey retail team, and was a partner in her own commercial real estate firm. She also formerly served as asset manager for Toys “R” Us’ portfolio of more than 500 owned and leased locations nationwide. Harrison earned a bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University and is a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson. She holds membership in ICSC and NAIOP NJ and is a certified paralegal in New Jersey.
“We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to Levin Management and our growing leasing team,” Sidney Singer, vice president of leasing, said. “Her depth of marketplace familiarity, diverse and well-rounded background and proven track record on behalf of both tenants and landlords strengthens our leasing team. I am confident she will be a tremendous asset to our clients and their properties we serve.”
