Westfield-based Romark Logistics, one of the country’s leading supply chain solutions, logistics and cold-chain providers, was named a 2023 Top 50 third-party logistics provider by Global Trade magazine.
In this annual list of the Top 50 3PL companies in the country, Global Trade ranked the companies in 10 categories. Romark was selected in recognition of its deep commitment to minimizing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices within the industry.
“We feel very responsible for the environmental impact we create. For years now, we have been implementing sustainability initiatives throughout our business, including minimizing our transportation carbon footprint, conserving warehouse energy with solar and other renewable energy, and using recyclable and sustainably sourced packaging materials,” said Ryan Ziegler, director of sustainability management at Romark. “It feels great to be recognized for the progress we’ve been making.”
For the past six years, Romark has also been named a Green Supply Chain Partner on Inbound Logistics’ Annual G75 List of companies that are dedicated to reducing their environmental impact and helping to create a more sustainable, eco-friendly industry.
Two other New Jersey companies were also named in the Global Trade Top 50: Alliance Shippers in Englewood Cliffs and Roadly Logistics in Matawan.
