Woodmont executes 54,113-square-foot lease with R.A.S. Logistics in Woodbridge

Woodmont Industrial Partners on Tuesday said it signed a long-term lease with R.A.S. Logistics for its recently completed industrial building in Woodbridge. The property brings 54,113 square feet of Class A industrial space to a premier location in Woodbridge, a highly sought-after area within the New Jersey real estate market.

Located at 51 New Brunswick Avenue, the property features 32-foot clear height ceilings, eight exterior dock doors and one drive-in door, build-to-suit office space, and easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Route 9 and Route 440.

Woodbridge Township Mayor John McCormac and key executives from Woodmont including CEO Eric Witmondt, Principal Marc Lebovitz, and Executive Vice President and General Counsel Stephen Santola attended a ribbon-cutting event to commemorate this milestone.

“We’re incredibly proud to stand with Woodmont Industrial Partners to announce yet another milestone accomplishment with the construction and lease of their second world-class distribution center that has established long-lasting economic benefits to the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Township,” Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac said. “We’d like to officially welcome R.A.S. Logistics to Woodbridge and look forward to a continued partnership.”

Perched on the border of Fords and Hopelawn, 51 New Brunswick Avenue features 32-foot clear height ceilings, eight exterior dock doors and one drive-in door, build-to-suit office space, and easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, Route 9, and Route 440.

Woodmont began construction in October 2022, after acquiring the site in April 2022. Leasing was led by Cushman & Wakefield’s Mindy Lissner, Chuck Fern, Jason Barton and David Gheriani.

“With tenant demand remaining strong for well-located properties with access to major roadways and ports, we’re proud to play a role in contributing to the market’s inventory that will shape the future of the region,” Anthony Amadeo, executive vice president of Woodmont said. “With the completion of construction at 51 New Brunswick Avenue and execution of a quality long-term tenant, we’ll continue to seek out value-add opportunities in prime locations across the Northeast and Southeast United States.”
