The Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Foundation hosted its 2023 Golf Outing at Hackensack Golf Club on Oct. 4. The daylong golf tournament attracted nearly 300 golfers and more than 45 corporate sponsors to raise a total of nearly $440,000.
The money raised at the event by the foundation will provide Bergen New Bridge Medical Center with the funding needed to enhance the hospital campus and support technology and innovation vitally needed by the community it serves. It will also fund programs for elder care, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment and other chronic conditions.
“The foundation supports the growth of essential services like our Emergency Department expansion and renovation, the launch of the Center of Excellence for Integrative Depression Care, our new Comprehensive Center for Addiction Treatment, and encourages the innovations that provide equitable care to all,” Deborah Visconi, CEO and president of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, said.
“We are the fundraising arm of the medical center, and we are committed to enhancing the lives of the patients, long-term care residents and communities served by Bergen New Bridge,” Louis Weiss, chair, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Foundation, said. “We work closely with Deb and her team to help support the medical center, so it has what is needed to continue to grow and develop lifesaving and innovative programs.”
