Main Street Business Alliance launches new (bilingual) website for downtown Hackensack

The Main Street Business Alliance on Friday announced the launch of its newly revamped website for downtown Hackensack: DowntownHackensack.org, a new, dedicated, bilingual platform that intricately weaves the MSBA commitment toward uplifting and promoting the spirited Downtown Hackensack Special Improvement District.

The new site serves as a comprehensive guide catering to current residents, business owners and even those contemplating making the vibrant city their new home or business locale.

In a constant endeavor to support and elevate life and business in downtown Hackensack, this digital platform not only highlights the pulse, attractions and events of the district, but serves as an informational portal for everyone.

The site is available in both English and Spanish and includes Accessibility Tools for the visually impaired.

“The new site is the first step toward a more robust, easy-to-navigate platform for current residents and business owners as well as those people who want to come here to visit, live or open a business,” John Peters, executive director of the MSBA, said. “Our goal with this new site is simple; offer timely, enriching, valuable content for everyone interested in downtown Hackensack. If we continue to do this in concert with the city of Hackensack and all our strategic partners, we’ll be able to sculpt the future of downtown Hackensack, ensuring it remains a hub of prosperity, community and unparalleled experiences.”

Navigating through the site, residents and visitors will find detailed sections designated for their specific needs — whether they are looking for someplace to eat, have a drink, attend an event or shop at the many retail establishments within the district. The website is embedded with comprehensive information guiding visitors through the historical landmarks, dining spots, parking locations and event experiences that uniquely define the district.

For potential entrepreneurs considering a move to the area, the website unfolds all that downtown Hackensack has to offer, providing an inside look into the thriving community and economic landscape. Resources specific to business owners guide them to available commercial properties, Storefront Improvement Grants (enabling businesses to upgrade and beautify their storefronts, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of the downtown) and so much more.
