Tax advisory service Grassi on Thursday said it appointed Gabor Kiss as partner and international tax practice leader. In this role, Kiss will oversee the service offerings and strategic direction of the international tax practice.
Kiss joins Grassi with more than 15 years of tax advisory experience at public accounting firms in the U.S., Hungary and Germany. Specializing in international tax planning and modeling, he has helped clients optimize tax strategies and comply with unique regulations across 25 different countries in Europe, Asia, North America and IBC jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Grassi, Kiss was a managing director in the International Tax and Transaction Tax Services practice at EY, where he worked primarily with multinational clients headquartered in North America. He advised them in all tax planning matters, including financing/treasury functions, holding arrangements, intellectual property management and global mergers & acquisitions transactions.
Kiss holds a master’s degree in economics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a Certified Tax Advisor designation from Perfekt Zrt in Hungary.
