Brach Eichler, a Roseland-based law firm with a primary focus in health care law, recently announced the promotion of Isabelle Bibet-Kalinyak to vice chair of the firm’s national Health Care Practice Group.

Bibet-Kalinyak has more than 30 years of international business experience and concentrates her practice representing “brick and mortar” and virtual clients in complex business transactions including private equity transactions, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers acquisitions and joint ventures, management services organization structuring, strategic partnerships, compliance matters and fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute.

She counsels physicians, health care providers, hospitals, medical associations, boards and management teams on the legal and strategic implications associated with various forms of corporate entities, health care integration models, compliance, payers, credentialing and emerging trends, laws and regulations. The depth of Bibet-Kalinyak’s experience enables her to assist clients in evaluating both the legal and business ramifications of transactions, contracts, agreements, negotiations and compliance issues.

Her legal, business and operational acumen is keenly aligned with her role as legal counsel to six New Jersey medical societies:

  • New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology;
  • New Jersey American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Section;
  • New Jersey Obstetrical & Gynecological Society;

  • New Jersey Society of Pathologists.

“We are grateful to Isabelle for her leadership within our Healthcare Practice Group and more broadly at Brach Eichler for the last two years,” John Fanburg, Brach Eichler managing member said. “Isabelle is an outstanding lawyer who is as talented as she is versatile. From mergers & acquisitions to succession planning to advising hospitals and health care providers, Isabelle’s experience and the results she obtains for her clients are always top-notch. We celebrate Isabelle’s accomplishments and know she will do an excellent job managing the Healthcare team while still running her own legal practice.”

Bibet-Kalinyak holds a B.B.A. in finance from the Centre d’Etudes Franco-Américain de Management in France, a B.B.A. in finance from Temple University, an MBA from Kent State University and a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.
