Persico, a former judge advocate in Marines, joins Riker Danzig

Thomas Persico, a former judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps, has joined Riker Danzig as a member of the firm’s commercial litigation group, the firm announced.

Persico will work out of Riker Danzig’s Morristown office.

Persico’s legal experience includes the full spectrum of legal, regulatory and ethical advice. He most recently served as the deputy staff judge advocate of Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where he provided counsel on the interpretation of laws, policies and contract provisions and advice regarding the handling and resolution of criminal litigation and confidential internal and external investigations. He also worked as defense counsel, representing Marines and sailors in courts-martial and other proceedings.

Persico graduated with an ScM in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from Brown University in 2023. He received his J.D. and two advanced certificates in environmental law and international law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2018. Persico received his B.A. from Rutgers University in May 2015.

Persico rose to the rank of captain in the Marines.
