Fairfield-based DLA LLC said that, effective Monday, Steven Morris has been appointed as managing director in the accounting advisory group.

Morris, who brings over 17 years of experience in strategic finance, capital markets and operational excellence in real estate, will predominantly operate from the DLA New York City office while collaborating closely with team members across the entire group.

Most recently, Morris showcased his leadership in complex real estate transactions and capital financing at Multigreen Properties. Prior to Multigreen, he worked as a management consultant at Leyton Properties, where he led acquisitions due diligence for luxury residential developments, contributing invaluable expertise in navigating nuanced real estate landscapes. Morris also served at Ernst & Young, as senior manager in assurance services, where he demonstrated a deep understanding of SEC-registered public company practices, IPO readiness and the operational intricacies of real estate companies, both public and private.

Morris’ appointment at DLA marks a strategic move to enhance the firm’s advisory offerings. His unique blend of expertise and deep understanding of real estate will play a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s capabilities, influencing growth across the entire organization. This addition aligns with DLA’s commitment to providing comprehensive solutions and further strengthens its position as a leader in the advisory space.

“We are thrilled to welcome Steven Morris to DLA. His demonstrated leadership and remarkable skills will not only enhance our current services, but will also contribute to the expansion of our advisory offerings, allowing us to better serve our clients with excellence,” David Landau, founder and CEO of DLA, said.
