KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot coming to St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot has leased 12,300 square feet at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, according to a Wednesday announcement from Levin Management Corp. The restaurant will feature a hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean barbecue flavors — modernized with a full bar and nightlife atmosphere.

LMC serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 343,000-square-foot community shopping center, which sits at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 1&9 and Route 35.

LMC Senior Leasing Representative E.J. Moawad spearheaded the lease on behalf of the landlord; Stephan Miller of Welco Realty Inc. represented the tenant.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened its first location in 2018 and currently has locations nationally with more to come, according to the company’s website.

“KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is a contemporary concept that has broad appeal,” Moawad said. “The experiential aspect of this restaurant allows everyone at the table to participate in cooking the meal, which provides a fantastic opportunity to gather and socialize. We are confident KPOT will be a traffic-driving destination for the shopping center and a great addition to the local restaurant landscape.”

Anchored by a high-volume ShopRite, St. Georges Crossing boasts a complementary tenant mix that includes T.J.Maxx, Pet Smart, West Marine, Ulta Beauty, AutoZone, House of Wine & Liquor, Comcast Xfinity, European Wax Center, Visionworks, Verizon, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Taco Bell, Jersey Mike’s and GameStop, among others.

St. Georges Crossing draws 3.8 million visitors per year, according to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai. The property serves a growing residential population of more than 360,000 residents within a five-mile radius, and a daytime population of 231,000 people within those same five miles.

LMC is marketing one remaining, 38,500-square-foot availability at St. Georges Crossing.
