JLL announced Monday that it has completed a long-term office lease with a footwear and apparel company, the SG Cos., at 216 Rt. 17 N. in Rochelle Park.
The multinational corporation, which manufactures footwear and apparel for an extensive range of popular lifestyle brands including but not limited to Harley Davidson, Dockers, IZOD, BCBG and its owned outdoor brand, Rugged Shark, will move from its current location in Hackensack to occupy approximately 14,000 square feet of office space at the property.
The SG Cos. has grown from humble roots to become a global corporation with more than 150 associates across five different locations.
“We’re thrilled to announce our relocation to premier new offices as a key step in our continued effort to support our brands and meet growing demand from consumers,” Matt Feiner, CEO and president of the SG Cos., said.
216 Rt. 17 N. is a three-story, 82,222-square-foot Class A mixed-use building owned and occupied by Park Avenue BMW, which operates its headquarters and showroom on the second floor, with the top two floors consisting of multitenant office space.
JLL Vice President Mike Pietrowicz represented ownership in the lease with SG Cos. The tenant was represented by JLL Executive Managing Director Frank Recine and Vice President Colleen Maguire.
“Park Avenue BMW has been a tremendous steward of this distinct property, and it will be a great new home for SG Cos.,” Recine said. “The building provides modern office space, structured parking and proximity to Route 17 for a convenient commute and easy access to nearby shops, restaurants and entertainment.”
