Center for Resiliency recently completed a new lease at 160 Summit Ave., a repositioned 32,000-square-foot office building situated at the heart of a growing medical hub in Montvale, according to a Tuesday announcement from JLL.
A psychology practice with highly trained therapists, Center for Resiliency is relocating from nearby 210 Summit Ave. to a 1,000-square-foot suite that will be built-to-suit by the owner.
Architect Guzzo & Guzzo has been retained to design the space and GTL Construction of New Jersey will serve as General Contractor. Center for Resiliency is expected to relocate to the property in the first quarter 2024.
160 Summit Ave. is located in a northern portion of Bergen County where leading health care providers including Valley Health, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Summit Health have led a redevelopment boom that is driving a surge in demand for office space from doctors, medical services and medical consultants.
Since launching its repositioning, 160 Summit Ave. has welcomed leading plastic surgeon Dr. Ran Rubinstein, who signed a long-term lease for a second location for his Rubinstein Plastic Surgery Center, LLC and Empowered Pelvic Health, LLC.
JLL Managing Director Frank Recine, who serves as exclusive leasing agent for the property, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome another leading medical tenant to 160 Summit Ave., where ownership’s is providing a best-in-class environment for medical groups to run their practice. As we near completion of an extensive renovation that includes upgrades to common areas and restrooms, ADA accessibility, a new entrance and high visibility signage, we anticipate continued interest from tenants seeking superior space in a prime location.”
160 Summit Ave. is located just west of North Market and The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, a nearly 60-acre redevelopment of the former Mercedes headquarters complex that includes 308 apartments and 52,000 square feet of boutique office space, across from 94,500 square feet of boutique retail space, a 231,000 square foot Wegman-anchored lifestyle center and a soon-to-be-complete 60,000-square-foot Valley Health medical office building.
Located minutes from the Garden State Parkway and the New York State Thruway, 160 Summit Ave. offers high quality office space in a competitive regional healthcare market. JLL is currently marketing medical availabilities ranging from 2,000 to 12,000 square feet across the ground level which features a private entrance, creating a building within a building.
“Ownership’s commitment to upgrading the building and its concierge service management style has established 160 Summit Ave. as a prominent location in a region experiencing renewed interest from health care providers,” Recine said. “We look forward to bringing new businesses to Montvale while supporting convenient access to best-in-class health care.”
