Construction is progressing ahead of schedule at Parkside at Westfield, a joint venture development of Premier Development and Garden Communities, according to a Thursday announcement from the JV.
The multifamily community will feature 162 luxury rental apartments in a three-story elevator building as well as a wide range of lifestyle amenities.
Located at 524 Springfield Ave. on the site of a former garden center, Parkside at Westfield brings a fresh, upscale multifamily housing option to one of Union County’s most sought-after suburban locales. Designed by BlackBird Group Architects, Parkside at Westfield is on target for a late spring 2024 delivery.
“It is exciting to see Parkside at Westfield take shape,” Michael Kaplan, senior vice president of property management at Premier Development, said. “Our vision with this project was to create a well-balanced multifamily lifestyle that seamlessly integrates with its neighborhood. We are confident Parkside at Westfield will set a new standard for luxury rental living in this vibrant community.”
One-, two- and three-bedroom apartments range from 985 to 1,944 square feet. All include two bathrooms, a balcony, efficient heating and cooling, ample closets and luxury finishes and materials. Select floor plans feature a fireplace and many have a separate study/den.
Parkside at Westfield’s clubhouse — with a fitness center, yoga studio, golf simulator, library and lounge — will foster an active lifestyle. Outdoor amenities will include a patio/barbecue area, fire pit, outdoor seating and a playground. Future residents will also benefit from underground covered parking, and the convenience of an on-site leasing and maintenance team. Electric vehicle charging stations will support ecofriendly transportation.
Parkside at Westfield’s address gives it a distinct market advantage. Westfield is regarded for its highly rated public schools, accessible public transportation options and vibrant downtown. The town recently earned a spot in 2023’s Niche.com ranking of “Best Places to Live in New Jersey.”
