honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant known for wholesome, simple and made-to-order stir-frys, salads and honeybars, is scheduled to open its doors to customers at the Simon-owned Ocean County Mall in Toms River on Thursday.
Located at 1201 Hooper Ave., the Toms River location is the 40th restaurant for the fast-casual and the sixth in New Jersey for the popular, fast-growing concept. honeygrow has opened nine new locations in 2023 as part of an ambitious growth strategy that will extend into 2024, with more than double the number of restaurants in the pipeline. The restaurant brings 35 full- and part-time jobs to the area. It joins On the Border, PF Chang’s, Home Sense, LA Fitness, Ulta and Old Navy at the popular shopping center.
For a limited time, customers can look forward to honeygrow’s popular Miso Garlic Chicken Stir-fry loaded with freshly prepared egg white noodles, roasted chicken, miso corn, caramelized onions, shaved parmesan, chives and miso garlic sauce. The miso garlic sauce also makes the perfect dressing option for a Create Your Own salad, available through honeygrow’s in-store kiosks, mobile app and online ordering system.
“Our latest venture in Toms River is more than just a restaurant opening; it’s a celebration of our remarkable journey as a team. Now with 40 locations, this year has been a whirlwind of growth and achievement for honeygrow, and this expansion is an exciting leap as we unite our restaurants in the northern and southern corners of the state. We’re actively looking for more opportunities throughout New Jersey, eager to strengthen our brand and continue this incredible adventure,” Justin Rosenberg, founder and CEO of honeygrow, said.
