Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus recently announced that Dr. Anna Harutyunyan has been appointed to the newly created role of associate chair of medicine for the Department of Medicine. Harutyunyan will focus on integrating all the medical center’s services while fostering innovation and a commitment to patient and resident-centered care.
“This newly created role is an incredibly important one for the medical center as we continue to elevate the already high-quality care provided in both our acute and ambulatory care settings,” Deborah Visconi, CEO and president, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, said. “Dr. Harutyunyan has a visionary approach to medicine, and her collaborative spirit will ensure that our Department of Medicine continues on its transformational journey while serving as a beacon of health and hope to all we serve.”
Harutyunyan has been a part of the Bergen New Bridge team since 2008, serving as lead hospitalist and as an officer of the Medical Executive Committee.
