Every hospital has an annual story of which baby is the first born in the new year. At Virtua Voorhees Hospital, it comes with a unique twist this year.
Twin brothers Ezra and Ezekiel were born over the weekend, but they don’t share the same birthday. In fact, they don’t even share the same birth year.
Older brother Ezra was born at 11:48 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, weighing 6 pounds and measuring 18¾ inches long. Slightly younger brother Ezekiel was born at 12:28 a.m. on New Year’s Day, weighing 4 pounds and measuring 17¼ inches long.
It’s all in good fun for mom (Eve) and dad (Billy), who are thrilled both boys are healthy and forever will have a fun story to tell.
But, like any good tale, there’s a little more. While Ezra doesn’t share a birthday with his brother, he won’t have the day to himself. Billy was born on New Year’s Eve, too.
