Florham Park firm adds 2 equity partners, rebrands as Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser

Salmon, Ragno Sprague elevated at firm that was founded in 2012

Scott Salmon and Jessica Ragno Sprague have been elevated to equity partners at a midsized Florham Park-based firm that now formally will be known as Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser.

The firm, which was founded in 2012, has 19 lawyers working in more than a dozen practice groups. It also has offices in Tinton Falls and New York City.

Salmon serves as chair of the firm’s Election Group and co-chair of the Government Representation Group, where he has represented political campaigns at every level, including currently serving as counsel to the Steve Fulop for Governor campaign and previously representing U.S. Rep. Tom Malinowski.

Ragno Sprague serves as co-chair of the firm’s Family and Matrimonial Group. A certified matrimonial attorney, she specializes in family law-related matters, dedicating the majority of her career to serving clients in various aspects of divorce, child custody, child support, alimony and other related issues.

She served as president of the Passaic County Bar Association (2019-20) and as a trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Founding Partner Rich Meisner said the addition of Salmon and Sprague as equity partners and the firm’s rebranding marks a new chapter in the firm’s history.

“Our firm’s journey continues to evolve, or, to put it better, the journey has been our destination,” he said. “I could not be happier and more excited about our future, and I am so glad that Scott and Jessica will be joining our leadership team.”

Tom Jardim, another founding partner, said the firm mission and vision is key.

“As we evolve and welcome new leadership, our focus remains on the core values that have defined us — integrity, excellence, and a client-first approach.”

Salmon was humbled by the elevation.

“It is a tremendous honor to call Tom, Rich and Bennet (Susser) my partners and help lead this amazing team forward,” he said.

Ragno Sprague agreed.

“Becoming an equity partner with JMS is a significant milestone in my career,” she said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s tradition of excellence.”
