Montvale Mayor Michael Ghassali and members of the town’s economic development team recently attended the official opening of 160 Summit Ave., a newly modernized office building repositioned to capitalize on the area’s emergence as a medical hub. The property is co-owned by Seth Reece and JLL Managing Director Frank Recine, who introduced Ghassali and told the gathering how the new-look property was part of the town’s reinvention from its corporate past and designed to meet demand for office space from ancillary health care service providers.
160 Summit Ave. is located in a northern portion of Bergen County, where Valley Health, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Summit Health have led a redevelopment boom that is driving a surge in demand for office space from doctors, medical services and medical consultants.
In recent months, 160 Summit Ave. has welcomed a trio of new tenants, including leading plastic surgeon Dr. Ran Rubinstein, who signed a long-term lease for a second location for his Rubinstein Plastic Surgery Center LLC, Empowered Pelvic Health LLC, and the Center for Resiliency, a psychology practice with highly trained therapists. JLL is currently marketing medical office availabilities ranging from 2,000 to 12,000 square feet across the ground level of 160 Summit.
