TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, announced $7 million in available grants through its 18th annual Housing for Everyone grant program.
Application details
To be considered for a grant through the Housing for Everyone competition, applicants must have a history of providing affordable housing and/or providing supportive services to those who are homeless or are on the brink of homelessness. Further, they must be able to demonstrate a strong record of interventions that lead to documented success in stabilizing formerly homeless individuals and families.
Grants ranging from $150,000−$250,000 will be made available to eligible organizations. The most competitive proposals will be those that best demonstrate positive impact for the most disadvantaged populations.

Since its inception in 2005, the Housing for Everyone grant program has awarded more than $49 million to nonprofit organizations and helped support over 550 affordable housing initiatives in the U.S. communities TD serves.
The Cherry Hill-based financial institution said this year’s competition will focus on nonprofit organizations providing services to support independent living for marginalized community members, including rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing or transitional housing, across the bank’s Maine-to-Florida footprint and Michigan.
“The affordable housing crisis is quickly becoming an unsheltered homeless epidemic across the U.S. The end of many pandemic-era programs, combined with the financial insecurity of low-income renters, is leading to higher eviction filing rates and increased homelessness, particularly amongst marginalized communities,” Paige Carlson-Heim, director of the TD Charitable Foundation, said. “These conditions make it difficult for people to maintain a stable home without additional help, which is why funding for frontline organizations is so critically important. We know firsthand the impact nonprofits can have in addressing affordable housing and homelessness in our communities, and we look forward to supporting many of them through Housing for Everyone this year.”
The Housing for Everyone grant program supports TD’s longstanding commitment to community enrichment, as well as the bank’s efforts to help people live with greater financial confidence through the TD Ready Commitment, TD’s corporate citizenship platform.
