Cimino elected chair of Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber

Jeannie Cimino, the chief retail officer at William Penn Bank, has been elected as the new chair of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, Chamber CEO Hal English said.

Cimino will lead a new executive committee that includes:

  • Chair-elect: Patrick Ryan (First Bank);
  • Treasurer: Zack Warringer (Bank of America/Merrill Lynch);
  • Secretary: Greg Blair (Nottingham Insurance);
  • Immediate past chair: Bill Rue Jr. (Rue Insurance).

The chamber’s day-to-day operations continue to be led by English.

“New leadership always brings a new energy to an organization, and the chamber is no different,” English said. “The chamber has a long tradition of best-in-class programming and coalition-building that benefits our entire regional business community.

“In 2024, we are going to build on that tradition to launch a new era of growth, relevance and economic opportunity.”

Cimino, who will be officially installed Jan. 18, said she is eager to get going.

“As the premier regional business association in central New Jersey, the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber provides our members unparalleled programming, strategic networking and access to resources that drive growth for their business,” Cimino said. “I look forward to a year of innovation, where the success of the chamber and its members leads to growth and prosperity for our entire region.”

The board also announced a number of new members, which reflect the diversity of the chamber’s membership and the regional business community, English said.

The board is representative of the industries that drive the local economy, including health care, banking and finance, government, pharmaceuticals, tourism, higher education, professional services, information technology and nonprofit social services, and the organizations chamber board members represent range from Fortune 500 companies to small, family-owned businesses.
