Launch Entertainment, a leader in indoor family entertainment, inked a 31,842-square-foot retail lease at 260 Bergen Turnpike in Little Ferry, according to a Wednesday announcement from CBRE, which arranged the transaction. The space is within a 155,444-square-foot grocery anchored shopping center. Launch will move into the location formerly occupied by HMart, as the grocer has relocated to a different position within the shopping center.
CBRE’s Marta Villa spearheaded the leasing at the shopping center and negotiated the lease transaction on behalf of the ownership, Bergen Ferry Associates LP. Brian Wherty of Equity Retail Brokers acted on behalf of Launch.
“The retail space at 260 Bergen Turnpike was ideal for Launch,” Villa said. “The entertainment company recognized the physical attributes of the space met the demands of the growing trampoline and family entertainment center.”
The neighborhood shopping center is centrally located on Bergen Turnpike and offers nearly 1,000 feet of frontage. In addition to Launch, other major retail tenants in the center include GolfZon, Planet Fitness, Louis Castel and Daiso.
Founded in 2012, Launch had evolved from the concept of a trampoline park and small arcade to the ultimate family destination: a full family entertainment center offering a variety of attractions, premium bar and restaurant. The brand currently has 28 locations across 14 states, with several new locations in development. Backed by an experienced leadership team and a private equity deal with Silver Oak Services Partners, Launch Entertainment has initiated a full-scale franchise development plan.
