Steel going up for HMH’s Ambulatory Care Center at Prism’s ON3

80K sq. ft. Gensler-designed building on track for November delivery

With steel going up and the parking structure completed for Hackensack Meridian Health’s Ambulatory Care Center at ON3 in Clifton, construction is progressing on track for a November 2024 delivery, Prism Capital Partners announced Thursday. Situated on the southeast corner of Metro Boulevard and Route 3, the 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will serve as the gateway to the award-winning mixed-use redevelopment.

Prism’s Eugene Diaz, principal partner, said: “It is exciting to see this much-anticipated campus addition taking shape. Hackensack Meridian Health was our very first tenant at ON3, and its presence has grown here continually with new and expanding operations. We are proud to partner with this health care leader on their mission to deliver the highest-quality services to the community.”

ON3 is also home to Hackensack Meridian Health’s School of Medicine and Center for Discovery and Innovation (an NIH-designated Clinical Research Center).

Prism Construction Management is developing the four-story Ambulatory Care Center, which will include multispecialty practice areas and potentially an ambulatory surgical center. Designed by Gensler to provide an end-to-end hospitality-driven patient experience, the facility features a distinctive glass curtain wall façade, double height entry and daylight-enriched spaces. The attached parking structure will offer both convenience and ample space for occupants and visitors.

When complete, the Ambulatory Care Center will join 1.45 million square feet of fully occupied office and research & development/lab space at ON3, with more than 2 million square feet of additional space planned for the 116-acre site. Occupants also include Eisai Inc., Quest Diagnostics, the Ralph Lauren Corp., Seton Hall University’s Graduate College of Nursing and School of Health and Medical Sciences, Modern Meadow and Y-mAbs Therapeutics.
