Cannabis dispensary signs 8,600 sq. ft. lease in Marlton; slated to open in April

Rose Commercial Real Estate said Thursday that Rooted of Evesham signed an 8,600-square-foot lease on a freestanding retail property in the heart of Marlton for its new cannabis dispensary slated to open in April.

Rose Senior Vice President Brett Davidoff faced the challenges of negotiations for a new cannabis dispensary and represented both the Kloss Organization, the landlord, and QR Financial LLC dba Rooted of Evesham, the tenant, in the transaction.

Faced with a race against time for the few highly-sought-after licenses, key to township approval was securing a site — one that met the zoning ordinances, criteria and parameters. Davidoff went off market to find such a property. Located at 850 Route 70 West, the soon-to-be home for Rooted of Evesham offers great visibility on the well-traveled corridor with easy access to Interstate 295, the New Jersey Turnpike and other major roadways.

“Professional and proactive — two words describing Brett and working with him on making this deal happen,” Michael Klar, chief information officer, Quality Roots Inc., said. “This is our first location in New Jersey, and having Brett on board to help navigate us through each step really helped bring us across the finish line. He knew more than the real estate logistics but had key contacts and the ‘professional’ persistence needed — a tremendous asset with feet on the ground.”
