The Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce recently appointed Jennifer DeJesus for a two-year term as chairperson of its executive board. DeJesus serves as campus operating officer of Berkeley College in Woodbridge.
In her new role, DeJesus will support the chamber in its mission to advocate for local businesses, serve as a leading force for business growth and assist economic development throughout the township.
“2024 signifies a milestone year for the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, as we are celebrating 60 years of service to the business community. This year also allows us to swear in Jennifer DeJesus as our chairperson of the board,” Holly Church-Doyle, executive director, Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, said. “For numerous years, Jennifer and Berkeley College have been strong partners with the chamber and the surrounding community. I am proud to have Jennifer as our chairperson of the board and am looking forward to achieving monumental accomplishments in 2024.”
As campus operating officer at Berkeley College, DeJesus oversees day-to-day operations, finances, student and staff retention, space management and community outreach. She joined the college in 2013 and has served on the chamber’s executive board since 2021.
“As campus operating officer for Berkeley College and a member of the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce executive board for the past three years, I have worked to build strong relationships within our community and serve the educational and professional development needs of local businesses,” DeJesus said. “It is an honor to continue this work as chairperson, as the chamber strategizes on areas of growth and explores new ways to meet the evolving needs of our members.”
