Cushman & Wakefield welcomes Jimo Liu as executive managing director

Jimo Liu has been hired as an executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and will be based out of the firm’s Iselin office. Liu will provide real estate brokerage and advisory services for new and existing industrial clients, focusing on multimarket third-party logistics firms.

Liu will join Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial team led by Chuck Fern, which is consistently a top-performing team in the country.

“We are excited to welcome Jimo to our team, leveraging his extensive experience and remarkable track record of success,” Peter Bronsnick, C&W’s managing principal of New Jersey, said. “As we continue to pursue excellence and build upon our dynamic workforce, Jimo will be a tremendous asset to the firm and contribute immensely to our culture of teamwork, respect and winning. Jimo exemplifies the caliber of professional we seek to attract, and we look forward to achieving new milestones together as we increase our market share.”

Liu has over a decade of commercial real estate experience providing services to clients. In 2021, he negotiated over 1 million square feet of industrial leases.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Liu served as a senior vice president at Avison Young and a vice president at HHE Investment Inc., managing the firm’s real estate investments in the U.S. He started his career in investment management at the MDE Group, now Beacon Trust, where he was responsible for portfolio management, risk analysis and asset collection.

“I am thrilled to join the esteemed Cushman & Wakefield team in New Jersey,” Liu said. “Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to excellence, combined with their top-tier professionals, is what drew me to this outstanding organization. I am eager to collaborate with my highly skilled colleagues, and together, continue to deliver unparalleled services to our clients.”
