Performance Food Group nearly doubles its size in Swedesboro with expansion lease

Performance Food Group has inked a renewed lease and nearly doubled its space within an industrial building in Swedesboro, according to a Wednesday announcement from Colliers‘ Marc Isdaner.

The transaction was completed in partnership with Chris Robinson of Fischer & Co. of Dallas.

Located at 1109 Commerce Blvd., PFG’s occupied space was originally 159,627 square feet and, with the construction of a new 140,991-square-foot addition, it will total 300,618 square feet. Approximately 25% of the building is dedicated to cold storage space.

PFG is a food distributor and supplier, delivering more than 300,000 food and related products to customers across North America. With corporate operations in Richmond, Virginia, the company has more than 150 distribution centers across the U.S. 1109 Commerce Blvd. services PFG’s mid-Atlantic operations for Vistar, a service line focused on stocking snack, candy and beverage items in business and community locations.

1109 Commerce Blvd. is part of the Logisticenter at Logan, a Class A master-planned business park mostly developed by Dermody Properties in Logan Township, Gloucester County. The location and park are sought after due to its prime positioning for distribution in the Northeast Corridor, immediately accessible to Interstate 295 and minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike and to the Commodore Barry Bridge and Interstate 95.

The property is managed by DWS, which is ranked among the world’s largest real estate managers. DWS was represented by Dean Torosian of JLL.
