In response to corporate leaders facing unprecedented sustainability and environment, social & governance expectations, Princeton-based Mennta Energy Solutions recently announced the debut of its new course, “The Impact of Climate Change & ESG on Corporate Strategy & Finance.”
Led by award-winning ESG research manager Gabriel Thoumi, certified ecologist, founder and CEO of Responsible Alpha, this course is designed to guide corporate executives and leaders through the world of sustainable finance, ESG, climate risk, nature-based solutions and corporate strategy in the “Era of Sustainability.”
“Corporate sustainability responsibilities and the subsequent opportunities have matured rapidly in recent years,” Clara Spinetto, CEO and president, Mennta Energy Solutions, said. “This addition to our curriculum reflects our commitment to remaining an industry-leading resource of high-value content in the next era of energy.”
“Climate change and ESG risk mitigation can immediately generate risk-adjusted financial returns and improve corporate strategies. Learn trade secrets based on expert experience from leading teams working in over 35 countries globally over the past 18 years,” Thoumi said.
Mennta said the course will guide elite professionals through the potential economic and operational impacts of sustainability, ESG and climate risks and opportunities in their organizations. This workshop provides an overview of the “green” finance and trading markets created as a global response to climate change and covers a wide range of financial products and instruments for financing sustainability and climate projects.
