Hudson Regional Hospital on Wednesday said it recently has partnered with RestorixHealth to enhance the services offered by its Wound Care Center. Hudson Regional said the collaboration will bring oversight to the comprehensive center, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients with non-healing wounds that require an advanced level of care, such as diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers.
RestorixHealth is a provider of management services for comprehensive wound care, amputation prevention and hyperbaric medicine.
This new partnership reinforces Hudson Regional Hospital’s commitment to excellence, allowing it to provide patients with innovative treatment options such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
“We know our patients will receive the same high-quality, patient-focused wound care now that we are working with RestorixHealth,” Dr. Michael Farrell of Hudson Regional Hospital said. “This collaboration will improve outcomes, reduce hospital admissions and limit the need for pain medications.”
“Partnering with RestorixHealth means that we can provide an advanced wound care program dedicated to saving limbs and optimizing patient results for more people in need of treatment right here in Hudson County,” Dr. Brian Levine of Hudson Regional Hospital said.
According to Cheryl Munroe, regional director of RestorixHealth: “Hudson Regional Hospital’s wound center offers an aggressive treatment approach, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies that aid and accelerate the healing process. The highly skilled team features physicians, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care and HBO.”
