O’Donnell & Naccarato, a leading structural engineering firm with an office in Mountainside, has announced a strategic reorganization of its leadership structure, as the firm focuses on sustained, long-term growth in key markets across the country.
Dennis Mordan will serve as president, overseeing day-to-day operations of the firm, while Chairman and CEO Anthony Naccarato will lead its civic engagement efforts, with an emphasis on firm growth through geographic expansion. The new leadership group also includes some of the firm’s most senior and accomplished team members, several of whom have spent their entire careers with O&N.
“This realignment is part of a thoughtful strategic planning process to position our firm for sustained, long-term growth,” Naccarato said. “As we continue to evolve, it’s important that our leadership structure reflects the deeply embedded values of innovation, partnership and superior quality work that have made O&N what it is today. Under this team of industry-leading experts, O&N will continue to be an asset to the firm’s valued clients, employees and the communities we serve.”
“I am honored to continue O&N’s legacy of unwavering dedication to engineering precision and client satisfaction,” Mordan said. “I look forward to working with this incredible team of leaders as we embark on the next chapter of our growth.”
O&N’s new leadership structure will also consist of:
- Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer Melissa Pastras-Brugler, who joined the firm as an accounting clerk in 2002, will direct O&N’s accounting, human resources and culture initiatives;
- Vice President and Chief Engineering Officer Scott Bauer, a former principal with the firm, will oversee all engineering operations and be responsible for project completion and oversight;
- Vice President and Chief Marketing and Administrative Officer Michael Herrmann will lead all firm marketing, business development and administration efforts; and
- Vice President Paul Panzarino, who has more than four decades of industry experience and 10 years with O&N, will continue to drive O&N’s team in the New York Metro region.
Since its founding in 1981, O&N has evolved from a three-person firm into a national powerhouse, with more than 120 dedicated professionals across seven strategically located offices. Over last decade, O&N has opened offices in New York City; Indianapolis; Miami; Orlando, Florida; Columbus, Ohio; and Mountainside, positioning itself as a preeminent structural engineering firm offering solutions across all sectors of the construction industry.
