The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement on Friday announced the January total gaming revenue reported by casinos, racetracks and their partners was $559.1 million, reflecting a 28% increase from $436.9 million reported in January 2023.
Based upon filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $205 million for January, reflecting a decrease of 3.1% when compared with $211.7 million reported in January 2023.
For the month of January, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners was $183.3 million, reflecting growth of 19.9% when compared with $152.9 million reported in January 2023.
“Internet gaming win set a new monthly record, which, along with strong sports wagering revenue, helped Atlantic City’s total gaming revenue achieve its highest level for the month of January since 2006,” Casino Control Commission Chairman James Plousis said. “The success of online gaming and sports wagering continues to provide competitive advantage to operators even during Atlantic City’s traditional offseason.”
Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks and their partners was $170.8 million for January, reflecting a 136.1% increase when compared with $72.3 million reported in January 2023.
