Poke Bros (fast-casual sushi bowls) to open 5th location in state

National chain signs lease at Hamilton Plaza

High-quality, sushi-grade fish and farm-fresh veggies in an authentic Hawaiian poké bowl. Intrigued? It’s the tagline for Poke Bros, a national fast-casual chain that is quickly coming to the Garden State.

The concept’s fifth location in the Garden State will be at Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton Township, where Levin Management Corp. announced this week that Poke Bros had signed a lease to take 1,720 square feet.

The spot joins the four other locations Poke Bros has in the state, all in the Central/South Jersey area (Cinnaminson, Marlton, Plainsboro and Sicklerville). The chain has more than 80 locations nationally. And, while it preaches a Hawaiian flavor, it is based in Ohio.

LMC leasing representative Ed Vasconcellos said Poke Bros is a nice addition to the 175,000-square-foot center.

“Poke Bros is a quality, fresh addition that rounds out Hamilton Plaza’s dining component, which also includes a new Habit Burger Grill set to open this spring,” he said.

LMC also announced that Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is taking 2,400 square feet.

Ivy Rehab, which has more than 100 New Jersey locations, will provide treatments such as balance and fall prevention, chronic pain management, physical therapy, soft tissue mobilization, orthopedic therapy and postsurgical treatment.

“Health care and dining concepts are both excellent traffic drivers that contribute significantly to a retail property’s ‘destination’ mix,” Vasconcellos said. “We are extremely pleased to have assisted Ivy Rehab in selecting the right location for its newest regional physical therapy facility.

“We are excited to bring these new businesses to the Hamilton community.”

Hamilton Plaza sits at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 33 and Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Road.

Anchored by an 81,000-square-foot, high-volume ShopRite, Hamilton Plaza draws 3.1 million visitors per year, according to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai. The center’s tenant roster also includes a Goodwill Store, Dollar Tree, Petco, Mattress Firm, Norman’s Hallmark, Texas Roadhouse, America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses, Moe’s Southwest Grill, A Slice of Brooklyn and Queen Bee Nail Salon. Hamilton Plaza serves a residential population of more than 192,000 people within a five-mile radius.

Just one, 4,373-square-foot space remains available.
