Inc. recently revealed the 2024 Inc. Regionals, the publication’s rankings of the fastest-growing U.S. companies over two years in a particular region.
This year’s Inc. 5000 Regionals list listed an energy company from New Jersey on its Northeast Region list, which covers New Jersey, as well as Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The Megawatt Group (No. 39) in Cherry Hill made the list after experiencing 476% growth.
Megawatt is an outsourced sales team for solar module manufacturers connecting buyers with Tier 1 solar modules, supporting customers through the procurement process. This is its second time on Inc.’s list; in 2023, it was listed at No. 58 on the Northeast listing. The company, founded in 2018 by solar veteran Todd Ahern, also was recently named Energy Tech Review’s “Top Renewable Energy Services Company” for its innovative approach to module procurement.
Vision Solar (No. 105) in Blackwood also made the list, but according to published reports, the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy at the end of last year.
