Sills Cummis & Gross welcomes Craig Parker as member of the firm

Sills Cummis & Gross announced Craig Parker has come on board as the firm’s newest member. Parker joins the Newark-based Construction Law Practice, where he will provide strategic legal and business counsel to local and national construction contractors, developers, surety companies and commercial clients.

He is involved in all facets of the construction process, from pre-bid to project close-out to the prosecution and defense of claims in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals.

In addition to construction claims, Parker drafts, reviews and negotiates construction contracts and financing, indemnity and security agreements. He also works with architects, engineers and design professionals to ensure compliance with state and local regulations and manage potential claims.

“We are pleased to have Craig join our expanding construction law practice. His understanding of construction law and all facets of the construction process is a great benefit to our clients,” Sills Cummis Managing Partner Max Crane said.

Parker stated: “I am excited to join the expanding Construction Law Practice at Sills Cummis. I have known, for some time, the caliber of attorneys at Sills Cummis and look forward to collaborating with many directly.”

Parker earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, his MBA from Seton Hall University and his B.A. from Boston University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
