Levin Management: America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses coming to Capitol Plaza in Ewing

America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses will soon join the tenant mix at Capitol Plaza in Ewing Township. According to a Wednesday announcement from Levin Management Corp., which  serves as leasing and managing agent, the optical retailer — one of the country’s largest in its category — leased 3,600 square feet at the 355,000-square-foot Mercer County community shopping center.

Capitol Plaza is well-located at the intersection of heavily traveled Route 206/Princeton Avenue and North Olden Avenue.

Fred Younkin, LMC leasing representative, orchestrated the America’s Best lease on behalf of the landlord; David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty & Development represented the tenant.

“We are thrilled to welcome America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses to Capitol Plaza,” Younkin said. “This is a respected, nationally recognized brand and represents a new retail category for the property. We are pleased to add this high-quality vision care option for the community and another strong traffic driver for the shopping center.”

America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses combines both parts of the optical equation —eyewear and eye care — into one great experience at one low price, according to the company’s website. Headquartered in metro Atlanta, America’s Best currently has more than 900 stores in 31 states plus the District of Columbia and is adding more stores each year.

Anchored by Forman Mills, American Furniture and Marshall’s, Capitol Plaza’s retail tenant roster also includes Save a Lot, Planet Fitness, Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree, Snipes, dd’s Discounts, Foot Locker, Ashley Stewart, WingStop, Pork Chop’s BBQ, along with a complement of service and restaurant tenants. Capitol Plaza also features an onsite office component, home to Jersey College School of Nursing.
