Marcus & Millichap trades 18K sq. ft. storage facility in Phillipsburg

Commercial real estate brokerage Marcus & Millichap on Wednesday announced it sold an Access Self Storage facility, an 18,074-square-foot self-storage building located in Phillipsburg.

Luke Dawley, Nathan Coe, Brett Hatcher and Gabriel Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus, Ohio, office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. John Horowitz, New Jersey broker of record, assisted in closing this transaction.

“We are excited to close another New Jersey self-storage property with a seamless sale process for both buyer and seller,” Dawley, the lead agent involved, said. “This sale is another testament to the strength of the storage market across New Jersey today.”

The Access Self Storage facility in Phillipsburg is about 18 miles from Allentown, Pennsylvania. The asset was built in 2018 and is situated on 0.91 acres of land. It currently features 322 climate-controlled self-storage units that make up 18,074 net rentable square feet. The building benefits from a good location with an affluent, dense and growing surrounding population base.
