Florham Park-based Matrix New World Engineering recently announced that Jason Ringler has joined the firm as vice president, renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Ringler will lead a practice that focuses on planning and delivering infrastructure and energy projects that are designed to anticipate and mitigate the impacts of a changing climate upon communities and businesses.
Ringler brings over two decades of experience to Matrix, having focused upon environmental studies and permitting in support of project delivery for a wide diversity of transportation, renewable energy and public infrastructure projects. He has unique and valuable experience performing wetland delineation, wildlife assessments, wetland/terrestrial ecology, environmental compliance monitoring, inland and coastal wetland restoration and wetland mitigation design. His experience in the emerging offshore wind industry will supplement Matrix’s existing strong marketplace position.
Ringler is one of the few U.S. consultants with nearly a decade of experience in offshore wind and transmission, having managed the route planning and permitting of offshore wind transmission projects in New Jersey, New York and federal waters since the mid-2010s.
“We are happy to welcome Jason to the team. His expertise in renewable energy and infrastructure complements and enhances our strong existing practices and will improve our capacity to deliver to growing marketplace demands,” Jayne Warne, president, said.
