In a strategic hire to strengthen the firm’s health care presence, WCRE said Thursday that it hired Kim Kretowicz as executive vice president – health care services. Kretowicz is a trusted adviser and a national specialist in the health care sector of investment real estate. She brings 30 years of expertise in commercial real estate, with the past 10 years exclusively focused on developing and executing real estate strategies for health care owner and occupier clients.
By working with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, investors and developers, Kretowicz provides strategic guidance and transactional services for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and sale/leasebacks.
Jason Wolf, managing principal at Cherry Hill-based WCRE, expressed his enthusiasm about Kretowicz joining the team, stating: “We’re thrilled to expand not only our North and Central Jersey market, but also our national health care presence with Kim taking the lead. Her client-focused mentality and deep understanding of the health care real estate sector undoubtedly will drive significant growth for our firm and add tremendous value to the team, community and our clients. Kim is highly respected among health care real estate investors, developers and providers, and is a great fit with our culture.”
Kretowicz’s appointment aligns with WCRE’s continuing expansion in the region, marked by the addition of numerous seasoned brokers and increased activity in the Central and North Jersey and New York markets. She will collaborate closely with Eric Grad, managing principal of WCRE’s New York office, as part of the firm’s growth strategy in the New York and Central and North Jersey expansion.
Kretowicz also expressed her enthusiasm about joining WCRE, highlighting the firm’s entrepreneurial platform and its deep local roots of health care relationships such as Rothman Institute, Virtua Health, Jefferson Health and Quest Diagnostics, coupled with its national reach through CORFAC International.
“With a shared vision, strong culture and a team of talented colleagues, I look forward to building on the momentum Wolf Commercial Real Estate has built and contributing to even greater success,” Kiretowicz said.
Prior to joining WCRE, Kretowicz served as senior vice president, health care fellow within Colliers International National Healthcare Services Group and was a member of Colliers’ National Capital Markets Group. She specialized in medical office building acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and physician sale/leasebacks.
