Denville-based Audio Visual Associates has entered into an agreement with AVI Systems to further the AVI footprint in the Northeast, the DAK Group announced last week.
Details of the partnership were not disclosed.
Audio Visual Associates specializes in the design, sale, service, installation and rental of AV solutions found in corporate and hotel environments. AVI systems is among the largest global audiovisual and unified collaboration systems integrators, with 32 locations throughout the U.S.
Both parties offered praise to DAK, a leading investment bank specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions worldwide, for facilitating the transaction. DAK served as the adviser to Audio Visual Associates.
AVI founder Ed Susco, who will serve as managing director for AVI in New Jersey, said he is excited about the potential of the agreement.
“Our 35-year history, together with AVI’s industry leadership, makes this a great combination,” he said. “Not only will our employees benefit, but our clients gain access to AVI’s breadth of offerings, support and global capabilities.”
