WilkinGuttenplan adds partner focused on trusts, estates

Wilkin & Guttenplan P.C., the East Brunswick-based accounting and advisory firm, has added a new partner, Christine Pronek, a CPA who focuses on trust and estate work, it announced Tuesday.

WilkinGuttenplan, as it is known, said in a news release that Pronek has experience with firms including Withum, EisnerAmper, FMTRL and PKF O’Connor Davies, and has also served as a revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

Her work has focused on such segments as tax returns, including business, individual, payroll, sales tax and not-for-profit work, as well as trust, estate and gift tax projects. In 2019, she was named partner-in-charge of PKF O’Connor Davis’ Trust and Estate Department, working with clients ranging from moderate to ultra-high net worth, and covering domestic and international trust and estate matters.

She started her career in accounting in 1998 after her three-year stint with the IRS. She has a Bachelor Science in accounting from Quinnipiac University and a Master of Science in taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
