Spencer Savings Bank has hired a new vice president and business development officer for its new Edison team, it announced this week.
Kashif Pervez has joined the Elmwood Park-based community bank after a 25-plus-year career in commercial banking, including leadership positions with various national and community banks in New Jersey and New York.
In his new role, he will be focused on long-term profitable business relationships in Edison and the surrounding markets.
“We are excited to welcome Kashif, who is committed to helping prospective and existing business customers grow and thrive, to our new Edison team,” George Celentano, executive vice president and chief retail officer, said in a prepared statement. “Kashif has a strong track record in the commercial banking sector and has a real passion for helping businesses succeed.
