Former N.J. Govs. Richard Codey, Tom Kean and Jim McGreevey will be featured Wednesday in the latest installment of Leadership, Civility and Common Ground in Politics and Public Service — a series of events hosted by Monmouth University.

The public conversation series was created by state Sen. Vin Gopal (D-Ocean Twp.) and former state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, who will sit on the panel. Briana Vannozzi, the anchor for NJ Spotlight News, will moderate.

The panel, scheduled for 11:40 a.m to 1 p.m., will take place in the Great Hall Auditorium at Monmouth University. A livestream also will be available for viewing.

The event is the latest in the series, in which Gopal and Kyrillos engage other public officials in critical discourse.

The discussions focus on how people with different ideologies and from different political parties and backgrounds can find common ground through civil dialogue and understanding that can lead to successful outcomes for the public interest.
