Mount Holly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Lumberton said it recently appointed Dr. Soumya Bollampally as its medical director. Board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine, Bollampally is affiliated with Virtua Health’s post-acute services.
“Dr. Bollampally is highly regarded in the region for her expertise in geriatrics and leadership acumen,” Kate Bauer said. Bauer is the regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the facility. “Mount Holly is thrilled to welcome Dr. Bollampally in this key role. Her depth of experience is truly impressive.”
Bollampally earned her medical degree from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residencies at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. In addition, she completed her geriatrics fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and has worked at the Penn Memory Center and Penn Presbyterian’s Inpatient Acute Care for the Elderly unit.
