Rebecca Maioriello has joined the Roseland-based law firm of Connell Foley as an associate. Maioriello brings extensive experience representing municipalities as redevelopment counsel to serve as a strong advocate for property developers.
She also has helped private entities win zoning and planning board approvals for land use and development proposals and is well-practiced in negotiating and drafting redevelopment agreements.
An accomplished litigator, Maioriello has regularly appeared before municipal planning boards and municipal councils regarding the designation of properties as areas in need of redevelopment. She has drafted local redevelopment legislation in accordance with the Municipal Land Use Law. She has also represented clients in condemnation litigation and landlord/tenant disputes, as well as in employment and personal injury actions.
Before joining Connell Foley, Maioriello served as zoning board counsel for a New Jersey township, and as a municipal prosecutor for a major Garden State highway.
Maioriello, who earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
