Stone Creek Construction Group on Wednesday said the first quarter was prolific, with the completion of three commercial real estate projects, according to Michael Bruno, president of the Matawan-based company.
Serving as both general contractor and construction manager, Stone Creek Construction Group spearheaded the transformation and development for the new Mars Industries Research & Development Innovation Studio in Hackettstown. Work on the 16,000-square-foot project entailed interior renovation of the company’s national office, including a new prototyping kitchen, dynamic packaging lab and Mars-themed collaboration spaces. This new R&D Studio is designed to support and increase speed-to-market and innovation for the company.
The second project was the corporate headquarters of Volvo Cars USA. The SCCG team led the interior renovation of public spaces, including the lobby, as well as employee-centric workspaces and conference rooms. An existing cafeteria was also enhanced by the addition of a barista bar and pantry. The building is on the Volvo campus located in Mahwah.
A new senior care center has also been unveiled by SCCG. For Merry Heart Senior Care, a 8,500-square-foot building received a comprehensive makeover, including new mechanical systems, new structural footings and plumbing. Called the “Cottage Memory Care,” the facility will specialize in providing dementia care services. It is the newest to come under the Merry Heart name and is located in Kenvil.
