Ivy luxury rental community in Chatham now 50% leased

The Ivy, the brand-new luxury rental community in Chatham, has leased more than 50% of its residences, just four months after opening, developer BNE Real Estate Group said Monday.

The community at 2 River Road contributes 245 exquisitely designed residences and more than 34,000 square feet of amenities to the Morris County market.

“Chatham is one of Morris County’s most desirable places to live, and it is just 23 miles from Manhattan, which makes it the perfect setting for the unique lifestyle opportunity the Ivy provides,” Jonathan Schwartz, partner at BNE Real Estate Group, said. “We are proud so many people are choosing to live at the Ivy, and we expect the strong leasing pace to continue as more renters from near and far are discovering just how much the community offers every single day.”

The Ivy’s Chatham location puts it squarely in a borough known for its vibrant downtown of shops and restaurants, tree-lined streets, excellent public schools and friendly atmosphere. It is also close to other bustling shopping and dining districts, including downtown Summit, downtown Morristown and the Mall at Short Hills.

Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, the architecturally distinct building’s interiors were curated in partnership by Miami-based ID & Design International and Chicago-based Mary Cook Associates. The elevated design draws inspiration from Chatham’s refined lifestyle as well as five-star resorts from around the world, effortlessly combining sophistication with comfort to appeal to discerning residents’ tastes and preferences.

A variety of one- and two-bedroom residences are available for lease at the Ivy, with select premium homes offering additional den space. Upscale finishes and appointments include 9-foot to 11-foot-11-inch ceilings, luxury plank flooring and designer kitchens with Quartz countertops, polished tile backsplashes, stainless-steel appliances, wine refrigerators and gas ranges. Well-appointed baths are adorned with full-height tiled wet walls and offer shaker vanities, tiled floors, linen storage and frameless shower doors in select residences.

Monthly rental rates start from the $2,900s for one-bedroom residences and the $4,200s for two-bedroom residences.

BNE Real Estate Group curated a full collection of amenities when designing the Ivy, designed with resident recreation, relaxation and convenience in mind. Residents can indulge in a lifestyle that includes access to 24/7 concierge service, a versatile coworking lounge featuring private offices, a resident coffee bar, smart vending café and complimentary shuttle service to the nearby train station. A state-of-the-art fitness center comes equipped with a dedicated yoga studio and virtual fitness technology, while a welcoming resident lounge awaits, complete with a private dining room and attached catering kitchen.

Entertainment options are abundant, including a media screening room and a vibrant game lounge that boasts an inviting resident bar, billiards, shuffleboard and more, while multiple card/poker rooms provide social gathering spaces. The Ivy also offers two multisport simulator lounges, ensuring recreational offerings for golf lovers and beyond. Families appreciate the dedicated children’s playroom, and pampered pets have their own space, too, a convenient, on-site pet spa.

Outdoors, residents have access to 18,000 square feet of amenities spanning three courtyards, and featuring a refreshing swimming pool, private cabanas, firepits, private barbecue dining areas, an outdoor movie lawn and a covered outdoor lounge designed for year-round enjoyment.

Chatham is an ideal home base for commuters. Manhattan is about 50 minutes away from Chatham’s train station via New Jersey Transit’s Morris & Essex line, or 23 miles by highway. Route 24 conveniently traverses Chatham, connecting residents to major highways such as Interstates 78 and 287, and other key thoroughfares.
