A 3,600-square-foot retail building in Waldwick has been sold to Chase for $2.2 million, according to a Monday announcement from NAI James E. Hanson, which negotiated the sale.
Located at 53 Franklin Turnpike, Chase plans to convert the property into a new branch as it continues to expand in New Jersey so its customers can have access to a wide range of personal and commercial banking services.
NAI James E. Hanson’s Anthony J. Cassano and Dick Hecker represented the seller, Villa Restaurant Properties Inc., in the transaction with Chase.
Situated at the busy intersection of the Franklin Turnpike and East Prospect Street, the property features a retail building equipped with a drive-thru lane and ample on-site parking. The property is located just a half mile from the Waldwick Train Station and boasts close proximity to several restaurants and eateries, including Dunkin’, Nellie’s Place, Limoncello and Allendale Social.
“Bergen County continues to entice companies looking to capitalize on the growing strength of the local retail market,” Cassano said. “We are proud to have secured a buyer for our client’s asset and played a role in bringing a brand-new Chase location to the Waldwick community.”
