He’s now fully entrenched in the job, aggressively laying out and implementing his vision for the school: To be a major research university and be a major force in the communities it serves. Coming to the rescue of Bloomfield College (which is now merged into the school, rather than being allowed to fail) was a milestone moment — as was the school’s recent Top 10 national ranking for increasing the social mobility of its students.
