ROI-NJ celebrates Top 50 Women in Business Influencers with Opici Wine event

Announcing creation of ROI-NJ's Influencer Council, plans for more networking events

ROI-NJ celebrated a very special group on Monday afternoon, as the Top 50 Women in Business Influencers were invited to gather at Opici Wine Group in Glen Rock for an afternoon of networking, wine tasting and to honor the top trailblazing women in the state.

The event was designed to spotlight 50 extraordinary women in business who, moving forward, will be designated as ROI’s Influencer Council. The contributions of these women have consistently transformed lives and transcended boundaries. They are all women who are recognizable, trusted and who others aspire to be.

Sally Glick, the quintessential networker who’s now “Cali Sally,” was honored with the inaugural ROI-NJ special recognition award for her unwavering support and contributions to women in business. Glick, the ultimate connector and everyone’s best friend, was recognized for the essence of who she is: always helpful, encouraging and always bringing people together. She came to the East Coast especially for the afternoon so she could help make connections and get the momentum started for the future leadership groups that will be announced very soon.

ROI-NJ Managing Editor Linda Lindner, Sales Manager Liz Dwyer and Business Development Manager Heather Long represented the publication at the event, along with CEO & Publisher Tom Hughes.

ROI-NJ intends to continue the momentum of the women’s group and plans on holding future networking events that bring others on board to form a larger mentorship group and ultimately build a network of women or a pipeline of peers that can be called upon for connections and support.

A summer gathering, date and time will be announced in the next few weeks.

A special thank you to Opici Wine Group, Dina & Linda Opici, for hosting and providing such an enjoyable wine tasting and afternoon of mingling.
